2010 Lincoln Mark LT

Kinja'd!!!

Truck Yeah! indeed. This is the exclusive to Mexico 2nd Generation of the Mark LT that has been on sale since 2010 up to now. Due to sales as pathetic as the Mexican government itself, the Mark LT was discontinued in the American Market with its last year on sale (2009) achieving only to sell 147 units. Ironically, this has been and still is currently the best selling vehicle of the Lincoln line-up this side of the border. You can thank drug dealers for that.

Kinja'd!!!

The truck is basically a Ford F-150 Platinum with Lincoln's waterfall grille up front, steering wheel badge as well as embroidery on the seats in the middle, and a Lincoln Logo made into the bed liner and tailgate at the back. But, that feeling of not driving the plebeian F-150 makes this Truck worth of its higher price tag.

Kinja'd!!!

The power of the lincoln badge is accompanied by the power given by the engine. Which isn't much. This example uses the 4.6 V8 with 300 HP and 305 Torques mated not to the old versions 4 speed auto, but a new 6 speed. In short, its the same configuration as a 2014 Navigator. For 2014, the coyote 5.0 has been added and given it the real power it deserves.

Kinja'd!!!

For this exclusively Mexican, brash, bulky, drug-dealerey Pickup you have to pony up

$ 170,000 Pesos- $12,948 all thanks to depreciation. And since these trucks aren't used to carry around any ponies in a farm, they are mint with very low miles. This 4 year old built ford tough truck has only been used as much as your grandmothers Matrix. 22,000 km. or only 13,670 m. Truck to the Yeah!

Kinja'd!!!

Oppo Confession. I Really, really, really like these!

Haha, its like they were Designed to be just that! Also Hummers, but the army here in Mexico has confiscated some and used them as their own.

Kinja'd!!!

This is of the Federal Police. Once I saw a Jeep GC SRT-8 that had police lights and that mate finish filled with soldiers.

The Federales have badass rides. Also, I like how they call the 11th gen F-150 "El Lobo" in mexico. Riviera Maya is where I frequent. Like a true baller, I always roll in a Suburban LTZ. Truck to the mutha fuckin Yeah.

I once had the scare of my life with an undercover regular cab Silverado. It was at night and I was returning home whilst there was a shooting at other part of town. In a traffic light I just saw these things fly me by with several other silverados with soldiers in the back the same direction as I was going. Crossing traffic halted immediately.

Kinja'd!!!

They were at full go, which was something I had never seen before with 5 of these following.

Kinja'd!!!

I thought man, that was scary. Then parked at the side of a road a white single cab 2005 ish Silverado with apparently no one inside just turns on, its interior and hidden sirens on (Also from the police) as well and full throttles into the crossing traffic like the last trucks. My guess, it was also going to the shooting as the others guys that passed me. But my god I would've sworn that white Silverado was lonely and completely inoffensive.

Phew, I would have had a heart attack with that one. The scare of my life was an unmarked Fairfax PD Crown Victoria sitting at the end of my street. I was stretching my bikes legs after the Winter. Luckily, he wasn't paying any attention, but I did have a Mini heart attack. I've had many scares with the Police and me speeding. Hehe, I've never been pulled over though :P

Kinja'd!!!

If you don't mind me asking, where in Mexico do you live?

Hahah yeah, I understand just the feeling when you break hard to be at the speed limit, but evade any eye contact with the Police man/woman and hope for the best. Our local "Police Cars" aren't really that menacing actually. I don't mind at all, I live in the most southern of Tamaulipas in a city called Tampico.

As an American (the out of touch d-bag started his sentence) I thought it was fucking nuts that they carried Uzis. I also like how your late model suburbans have avalanche fronts. And I was BLOWN AWAY at the hospitality, friendliness, and general coolness of locals when I first visited. Also, holy craap some of the senioritas were GORGEOUS. I tried drunk hitting on the hotel shift manager, and she was shockingly cool with it.

Haha, I either avoid eye contact. Or brake as hard as I can and hope for the best. The menacing thing is really prevalent here, Charger Grrrrrr angry face.

Except in New York, where they use the Prius for traffic enforcement. If one of those tried to pull me over, I'd drive off.

Nice looking town though! I haven't been to Mexico in years.

The weapons have just increased level to plain idiotic. Hahah I actually love the idea of the Avalanche and was really sad to see it go. It was a damn clever truck. Yes! everyone that comes here says the same about Mexico people. Up until they get robbed. Which was just exactly what happened to a Canadian teacher on his 2nd day in the city.

I like the front end - best front end of any new Lincoln, really. the badge could be about 1/4 of the size it is though.

I honestly don't think it would look bad without the badge and a hood ornament. Or even bull horns.

honestly I can't remember what year they were I was in the seventh grade or so when they bought them; however one was burgundy and the other was black ( I think) and they gave us this really cool die cast model of each of them matching color and everything!
